Last week was such a busy week for me doing some studying for the exams. I just had too much on my plate and I think I overdid it as usual. Too much that I deprived myself from sleep which is, of course, a big NO NO! Although I am happy that at least I stayed up for a good reason and not just doing nonsense.
I can't wait 'til this semester is over, I want some time to enjoy the summer. I have so many things to do that I would for sure enjoy like do some more cooking/baking, painting, rearranging things in the house, some sewing... oh yeah sewing some dress perhaps. I gotta do this stuff and rest my mind from the pressure of school stuffs. Hah there I go, c-o-m-p-l-a-i-n-i-n-g!
Oh yeah, I just really want to kill time right now while waiting for my night class. I am really so anxious to know how I did on my exam for this class... the result - result - result --- I am hoping so much that I did it right this time., but if not then better luck next time for me (lol).

Ahhh I need to rant!
I definitely need to rant here!!! How come there are people that when you say something they think the other way around. Some people are just too slow to comprehend whatever you are telling them. Too slow to pick up even if you have laid to them the best information you have.... ahhh I needed to be with people who are highly intellectual! I want to learn things, I love to listen to a person's perspective about something that has a lot of sense! Yeah an educational conversation is definitely what I needed. I miss those times I was working with people who were definitely intelligent... there's only one person I can think of whom I was close and I really enjoyed our friendship because even if she was older than I am, she still valued my opinion. I definitely learned a lot from her and from the other people around that place who offered only good things, intellectual information and good advises. I hope someday I could pay them a visit when I go back to RP.

Sugar Bowl Restaurant is located at Gaylord, Michigan. This restaurant is AWESOME!!! I love the foods there, definitely too delicious! Language barrier
So last night after my Macroeconomics class I stayed up with my instructor to discuss few things about the previous exam. While we go through the questions that I got wronged, I just realized that the "language barrier" had kicked in on me. Reviewing the questions and the choices, it was too obvious that I took the meaning of the question in a different way! I was disappointed with myself, but my instructor was so nice because she encouraged me that it is normal to happen. She completely understood what I am going through because she was once in my shoes, and the fact that she knew that Economics is hard. I actually did not do bad, my score was good, I just expected a little higher on myself, but yes if there's no language barrier then I could've gotten a way better score although what is important for me is everything is clear now and I understood it completely. I also learned a lesson that being careful is not enough, so doing everything with an EXTRA careful way is exactly the best thing to do.
Good luck for me for my two more upcoming exams.

Last Sunday afternoon while me and my husband were on the backyard deck relaxing, I grabbed a magazine to read and it so happened that one of the featured personalities on that magazine was Michael Vartan. When I saw his picture, handsome as always, I got this chilly feeling! So my husband got curious what is going on with my big smile, then I told him that Michael Vartan was my ever then crush which started when I kept watching Alias before. Oh oh... my husband got jealous! Of course it was back then, I got my husband who, for me, is way more handsome than Michael Vartan. (really? hehehe)
Anyway, the reason why he was featured in the Magazine it's because he is on this new TV series on TNT called "HAWTHORNE". I will definitely watch this series because of M.V. ;-)
Direct TV
We already had two attempts to switch to direct tv. First was last year of November, and everyone in the family was too excited of us having the Direct TV; imagine the shows that you'll get and of course the family's favorite, sports section that are on HD's! But this excitement was about to doomed us because we got this news that a lot of trees blocks our house thus we can't get a good signal from the satellite. Bohohooo huhuhu!!!
Second attempt was this year on the month of February! My husband was too eager to get Direct TV as our provider so he did some research and of course to top on that he found out that we could actually get cheaper price with definitely better channels on HD, thus, a very good deal. Also what adds up my excitement this time, I would be able to subscribe on a filipino channel. So we had it all set, and then during the appointment day for the installation of the dish... the service man told me such a very depressing news. He was afraid that once the leaves of the trees came out it will block the reception of the signal. The second time around, we got disappointed! We do wanted to have a Direct TV... if only if the trees are our property we could have just chopped it off, unfortunately it is from our neighbor so what a misfortune!
Solitude
I love to have my own time like this... yes, mostly at night when I stay up late I feel the solitude and I like it. Somehow being in solitude makes me regain myself after a day of chores. But definitely I can't keep up being always awake too late, I need some sleep and I wish I could just easily shut off my eyes and fall deep asleep right after I lay down in bed... but mostly it's too hard without tossing and moving. So I envy those who can fall asleep too easily!

When you finally settled down and started your own family, how would you handle the pressure from your extended family? As much as I am a family oriented person, as in family comes first to me, sometimes I wonder how would it be to just "forget about it"... as to the meaning of "forget about it" I actually don't have exact meaning except I just like to use it. The meaning varies as however you want it (I just remember the movie of Johnny Depp, "Donnie Brasco" wherein he has this scene with his co-agent asking what "forget about it" means, I thought it was awesome!). So yeah, sometimes due to some reasons I feel like I wanted to say, "forget about it"! Wish I could but it isn't that simple... darn, if only if! Truly, if a person don't learn in an easy way, they learn in a hard way! Sometimes I call it stupidity! Hah, I just prayed everything will be alright.

Macroeconomics
I never thought how exactly difficult Macroeconomics until now. Although it is hard, I am quite interested to learn a lot . Also I realized that this will be the type of class that is challenging for me since I need a lot of reading to do and not just merely reading, but understanding it thoroughly.
I took Microeconomics way back in Philippines, but as far as I remember everything we did was all theory and it was not as hard as I thought. I am not fond when it comes to theory as I am more on numbers and analysis, but I thought before Economics was actually the type of subject I am into.
Hard as it is, but I am determined to really learn. Although I love getting A's and I really get upset with myself if I don't get it, this time it will be different. A grade of "A" won't be my goal, rather the intense of the learning that I will get, how long will I be able to retain what I will learn, and of course the application of it to the real world, will all that matters to me.
Despite of what I said, of course I still want to get a passing grade..."B" would be the minimum and I will be happy with it. ;-)
